Talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump may take place at the Alyeska Resort ski resort in Alaska. Footage from the territory of the hotel complex, which could potentially be chosen for a meeting between the Russian and American leaders, is published by Izvestia on August 12.

"The main building, where the lobby [of the hotel] is located, resembles such a Soviet sanatorium. <...> It is surrounded by various trails where you can walk, walk, in general, go about your business," said Vladimir Artyukhov, a correspondent for Izvestia.

According to him, there are currently few people on the territory of the hotel, which is probably caused by rooms that have been sold out for the duration of the negotiations.
