Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky on August 11, during which the head of the Indian government stated the need for an early settlement of the conflict in Ukraine.

"I have outlined India's consistent position on the need for an early and peaceful resolution of the conflict," Modi wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
