- The concept of the store of the future will be presented at the forum "Unmanned systems: technologies of the future"
The Made in Moscow project, together with the Moscow Innovation Cluster, will open a store of the future as part of the International Forum "Unmanned Systems: Technologies of the Future", which is being held as part of the Territory of the Future forum-festival. Moscow 2030".
The International Forum "Unmanned Systems: Technologies of the Future" is being held in Moscow for the first time on behalf of the President of Russia. The forum will bring together leading experts, developers, manufacturers and exporters. The organizers of the International Forum "Unmanned Systems: Technologies of the Future" are the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the Moscow Government, the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, the National Technology Initiative (NTI) platform, University 2035 and the NTI Project Support Fund, the operator is the Roscongress Foundation.
The store of the future was created using artificial intelligence technologies, robotic and automated systems. The retail space will be open at the Skolkovo Innovation Center from August 14 to 17 from 09:00 to 20:00 every day.
In the store of the future, it will be possible to test various technologies of the capital's developers. So, the heat map will record the target audience of the store, the planogram will check the load of the shelves, robots will consult and serve coffee, and the self-service checkout will allow you to quickly pay for the purchase.
An innovative approach
The store of the future implements an innovative approach to retail trade using the capital's developments of resident companies of the Moscow Innovation Cluster, the Skolkovo Innovation Center and the Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone (SEZ).
It will be possible to purchase products from more than 40 local brands of the "Made in Moscow" project. Among them are a designer for developing future engineering thinking, robotics, space clothing, smart gadgets and accessories for electronic devices (laptops and mobile phones), healthy food products, as well as books and board games aimed at developing the interest of a young audience in science. The total area of the store will be 126 square meters.
The space will be divided into four demonstrative technological zones. They will use artificial intelligence and domestic software that can detect customer behavior and even detect theft. Intelligent video analytics systems will demonstrate an innovative approach to retail sales, increase employee efficiency and stimulate purchases based on big data about future store visitors.
Taking into account the interests of the buyers
So, a heat map will work in the retail space, which will help you understand which shelves customers approach most often. This technological solution is being implemented by the capital's BPA Technologies brand, a participant in the Made in Moscow project, as well as a resident of the Lomonosov cluster of the Vorobyovy Gory Innovative Scientific and Technical Center of Lomonosov Moscow State University. The group of companies develops software in the field of artificial intelligence and robotics.
The heat map will be able to capture the target audience of the store, determining gender, age, and even mood. In addition, it will determine the total number of customers and track their movement.
A useful tool for merchandisers in the store of the future will be a planogram that monitors shelf occupancy thanks to computer vision technology. It will notify employees in real time about irregularities in the product layout or the presence of empty spaces on the shelves, as well as help analyze the most popular items.
In addition, future retailers will use an RFID product identification system to help combat theft. A real-time demonstration of her work will take place in the store. So, visitors will take the goods from the shelf, and the system will detect the absence of their payment at the checkout.
Robots: consultants, cleaners and baristas
The store of the future will feature robotic systems developed by residents of the Moscow Innovation Cluster, Digital Twin LLC (a resident of the Skolkovo Innovation Center) and Promobot LLC. The robots will serve as consultants and will be responsible for hospitality and service.
So, customers will be able to ask the robot a question and get advice about the store's assortment, as well as get acquainted with the "Made in Moscow" project, which helps in promoting local products on the domestic market. Visitors will be offered coffee made in an unmanned robotic cafe created by the Moscow technology company FoodtroniX/DrinkX. It has remote monitoring and telemetry, which ensures timely replenishment of stocks and issuance of orders.
The robot will also be responsible for the cleanliness of the space. The unmanned scrubbing machine was developed by a resident of the Skolkovo innovation center, Weybot Automacon Robotics LLC. One charge is enough for six hours of cleaning. During this time, the robot is able to put a full-fledged hypermarket in order.
After the buyer selects the product, he will be offered to go to the self-service checkout. It was developed by Saga Technologies, a resident of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ. The software for cash registers was created by the Moscow brand KKT Service. The system will allow you to quickly scan the product and pay for the purchase. Both companies are participants in the "Made in Moscow" project.
Unique products
In addition to technological solutions, the store will present products from the capital. Among them are unique robots for learning programming of the Enjoy robotics brand, movable figures printed on a 3D printer made of plastic based on corn starch of the Doni print brand, cases for blocking tracking and hacking of a smartphone, as well as bags for reducing its harmful radiation of the Velter brand, contactless key rings of the ISBC brand, and an unmanned aircraft designer. the Clover brand.
In addition, healthy drinks of the Econad brand, protein bars of the Raw to go brand, educational kits for children of the Scientific Entertainment brand, as well as educational books of the Krasny Kvadrat brand, educational cards, puzzles of the RUZ ko brand and children's clothing of the Larisol kids brand will be found at the outlet of the future.
