A carousel with a firebird will appear on Lenin Square in Stavropol during the New Year holidays. The contract for the performance of works to improve the appearance of public space appeared on the public procurement portal.

The attraction will complement the ensemble of festive decorations of the city. 14.3 million rubles will be allocated for its purchase and installation.

The performer will be selected by August 18. The contractor will have to assemble the carousel by December 10, and dismantle it and deliver it to the storage site by mid-February.

According to the StavropolMedia news agency, a contractor is also being sought to deliver and install a luminous canopy on a fir tree, a lantern with a firebird and a tunnel on Lenin Square, as well as a "starry sky" on October Revolution Avenue.

Earlier it was reported that Stavropol will have a tire processing plant for rubber chips, which will later be used to make rubber tiles. Investments in the project will amount to more than 50 million rubles.
