French President Emmanuel Macron has proposed creating an international coalition under the auspices of the United Nations to stabilize the situation in the Gaza Strip. This was reported on August 11 in Le Figaro.

"Emmanuel Macron proposes an international coalition under a UN mandate, a priority for combating terrorism, stabilizing Gaza, supporting its population and creating a government of peace and stability," the article says.
