A possible deal between Russia and the United States on the joint development of resource deposits in the Arctic could lead to the end of the conflict in Ukraine. This was reported on August 11 by The Spectator newspaper.
"[US President Donald] Trump could declare the Arctic deal a huge commercial victory for the United States and the end of the conflict, which, according to him, was provoked by [former White House chief Joe] Biden.
