He noted that you can afford to rest lying down for about an hour and a half a day on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, but the rest of the time it is important to be active, because high-quality recovery occurs through movement. The doctor added that even those whose work involves physical labor should not spend their weekends on the couch, although they are allowed to rest lying down a little longer than others.
