A natural fire occurred between the village of Pavlovka and Vasilevka, Belogorsky district, Crimea. This was announced on August 11 by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation.

"The ignition of dry vegetation in an open area occurred between the village of Pavlovka and the village of Vasilyevka, Belogorsky district," the message says.

According to the agency, aviation of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations was involved in extinguishing the fire, and water supplies were also organized. In addition, the work is complicated due to the difficult terrain and windy weather.

Currently, the fire is being extinguished by more than 140 specialists and 34 pieces of equipment, including the MI-8 helicopter of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

On August 9, the Yalta nature Reserve in Crimea was engulfed by fire, the fire area was 2 hectares. It was noted that about 150 specialists and 41 pieces of equipment, including two helicopters, were working at the site at that time.
