Russian President Vladimir Putin has appointed Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko as Russia's special representative for the Treaty on Security Guarantees within the framework of the Union State. The corresponding decree was published on the official Internet portal of legal information on August 11.

"To assign Alexander Viktorovich Grushko, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the duties of the special representative of the Russian Federation," the text of the document on the website says.
