Jetour has revealed the design details of the new T1
Before entering the Russian market of the T1 crossover, Jetur Motor Rus talked about the key features of the exterior and interior of the novelty. This is reported in the brand's press release, which was reviewed by Izvestia on August 11.
The new T1 follows the stylistics of the larger T2 model, but its body lines are smoother, and there is no spare wheel on the fifth door.
It is particularly noted that the body structure is made of more than 85% high-strength steel.

The cabin has 45 storage compartments, and if you fold the seat backs of the second row, the trunk volume will increase to 1,455 liters.
There is a world map image on the front panel on the passenger side, and a 12.8- or 15.6-inch multimedia screen in the center of the panel. The massive "aviation" transmission selector is combined with a flattened sports steering wheel.
Additional comfort in the car is provided by double-layer noise-absorbing glass in the front row and extensive use of sound insulation materials. The declared noise level in the cabin at idle does not exceed 40 dB. And when driving at a speed of 80 km/h, the noise level does not exceed 61 dB.

The Jetour T1 will be available on the Russian market in six body colors: black, white, silver, blue, gold, and matte green. Each of them will be presented in combination with three interior designs: gray-black, black-orange and black-green.
Earlier, the technical details of the car became known from the Vehicle Type Approval (OTT). The Jetour T1 is 4,706 mm long with a wheelbase of 2,810 mm. It is 79 mm shorter than the Jetour T2 familiar to Russians. The ground clearance is 200 mm.

The crossover in Russia will have two power plant options. The initial version of this SUV will receive front-wheel drive and a 1.5—liter turbo engine, which in the version for the Chinese market develops 184 hp. The second engine has a displacement of 2.0 liters and a power of 254 hp. This T1 variant is equipped with a drive on both axles.
On July 17, Avito Auto reported a 4.8% decrease in the average price of a new car in the SUV segment (crossovers and SUVs). In the second quarter, it amounted to 3 million rubles.
Compared to the first quarter of this year, the average price of SUV segment models decreased by 3.5%, partly due to a change in the market supply structure. This has somewhat whetted interest and increased competition, analysts said.
