Farewell to Ivan Krasko will take place on August 13 at the Komissarzhevskaya Theater.

The farewell ceremony for the People's Artist of Russia Ivan Krasko will be held at the Komissarzhevskaya Theater. This was announced on August 11 at the theater.

"The farewell to Ivan Ivanovich Krasko, People's Artist of Russia, will take place at the V. F. Komissarzhevskaya Theater on August 13 from 10:00 Moscow time to 11:30 Moscow time at 19 Italianskaya Street," the press service of the institution told TASS.

Ivan Krasko, People's Artist of Russia, Soviet and Russian actor of theater, cinema and dubbing, died on August 9 at the age of 95 as a result of a long illness. Since 1965, Krasko served at the St. Petersburg Academic Drama Theater named after V.F. Komissarzheskaya. Krasko also has more than 200 feature films, TV series, and performance films under his belt.

The Komissarzhevskaya Theater later reported that Krasko had died after a serious illness. The theater expressed its condolences to the actor's family and friends.

Director Vladimir Bortko told Izvestia that Ivan Krasko was an actor who accompanied him all his life. He starred in two of his films, and the director said he remembers him with great respect.
