In the Kherson region, two civilians were injured during shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on August 11 by the governor of the region, Vladimir Saldo.

"A man born in 1946 was injured in the village of Rayskoye in the Novokakhovsky city district. He was taken to the hospital," Saldo wrote on his Telegram channel.

He noted that a woman born in 1993 was also injured in Novaya Zburyevka. In addition, Baldo added that as a result of the shelling, fires broke out in the region on an area of 84 hectares.

"The enemy also fired at Alyoshki, Kakhovka, Novaya Kakhovka, Dneprany, Malaya Lepetikha and Staraya Mayachka," the governor concluded.

Earlier, on August 8, Baldo reported that five people in the region were injured as a result of shelling from the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In addition, as a result of shelling by the Ukrainian army, dry grass fires and forest fires occurred in the Holopristan region of the region.
