FSB: one of the bombs used to kill military pensioners was disguised as a chess set

One of the bombs used to kill the Russian military by the pensioners recruited by the special services of Ukraine was disguised as a set of chess. This was announced on August 11 at the Public Relations Center of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia.

The footage shows one of the women placing a bomb disguised as a chess piece on a car. Later, law enforcement officers seized these "chess sets" with the help of special equipment.

One of the pensioners also told how she gave the fraudsters her passport information over the phone.

Earlier that day, the FSB reported that the special services of Ukraine had recruited five retired women to commit terrorist acts as "live bombs" in Russia. Fraudsters, posing as employees of Russian law enforcement agencies, deceived pensioners through the international Internet messengers Telegram and WhatsApp (part of Meta, the organization is recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation), promising to return lost savings.
