In the Volkhovsky district of the Leningrad region, a three-year-old child fell out of a fifth-floor window and survived. This was announced on August 11 by a source of Izvestia.
The incident occurred on August 10 in the city of Syasstroy. The boy's mother went shopping, leaving the child in the care of his six-year-old brother.
"A three—year-old boy leaned on a mosquito net and fell out of the window," the source said.
The child was taken to the intensive care unit in serious condition, and doctors diagnosed him with a concussion, a bruised lung and a closed abdominal injury.
On August 10, the Zyuzinskaya interdistrict prosecutor's office of Moscow reported that a child born in 2022 died in a fall from the fifth floor of an apartment building in the Yuzhnoye Butovo district. According to preliminary data, the child independently opened the apartment door and went out onto the stairwell, climbed onto the table there, reached for the window and fell out of it.
