A dump truck driver deliberately ran over a group of people in Novosibirsk

A man driving a dump truck deliberately tried to drive into a group of people in Novosibirsk. This was announced on August 11 by the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation for the region.

"Investigators of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Novosibirsk region have opened a criminal case on the attempted murder of two or more persons," the Telegram channel said.

According to the investigation, on the morning of August 10, 2025, in the Kirovsky district of Novosibirsk, a man driving a truck deliberately ran over a group of people. Medical assistance was provided to the victims on the spot, they did not require hospitalization.

Investigators are currently conducting a complex of investigative actions and operational search measures aimed at detaining the truck driver, the department added.

On August 10, six people were injured in a collision between a LiAZ bus and a Louis van in the Kirov region. The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the region clarified that the driver and five passengers were injured in an accident in a GAZ minibus, two were hospitalized. The causes of the accident are being determined.
