The calculation of the Tornado-S MLRS disrupted the rotation of the AFU group in its area

Calculation of the multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) A Tornado-S from the 79th Guards rocket Artillery brigade of the Zapad group of forces hit armored vehicles and disrupted the rotation of a group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of the special military operation SVO). This was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry on Monday, August 11.

The coordinates of the location of the enemy's military equipment and personnel were determined by calculations of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The results of the reconnaissance were passed on to the gunners, and the Tornado-S crew moved into position. The Russian military launched several strikes at the coordinates obtained. The shells hitting the targets were confirmed by scouts using a drone.

"Our machine is capable of hitting mainly area targets. These are temporary deployment sites, airfields, and ammunition depots. But sometimes we also work in some kind of single parking lots. For example, my calculation hit the M777 howitzers. There was a day job, a difficult sudden task. We left with the expectation of a starting position. There were three goals. A missile strike was launched. The howitzers were destroyed, and objective monitoring confirmed this.

Earlier, on August 9, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the gunners of the 35th army of the Vostok group of forces had eliminated the dugouts and firing points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporozhye area of the special operation.

Prior to that, on August 7, the Russian Defense Ministry showed how the calculations of the Msta-S self-propelled artillery units of the 35th combined arms army of the Vostok group of forces destroyed the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporozhye region, near the village of Gulyai-Pole.
