The meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US Leader Donald Trump in Alaska scheduled for August 15 will not ensure an immediate end to the conflict in Ukraine, but it may be an important step towards its resolution. This was stated by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on the Pink TV channel on Sunday, August 10.
"I am not sure that it will lead to an end to the conflict, but I am sure that it is very important. I wish them good luck, we all support peace in Ukraine," Vucic stressed.
According to him, a possible settlement of the conflict will be of great importance for the economy of not only Serbia, but also many other states.
"I wish them a good meeting, results, and that they please us all with peace," concluded the Serbian leader.
