Roman Efanov, the former guitarist of the band MBAND, has died.

Roman Efanov, the former guitarist of the musical group MBAND, died at the age of 44. This was announced on August 10 by singer Anatoly Tsoi.

"Our friend Roma has passed away. Legend, may the earth rest in peace for you," the artist wrote in his obituary.

At the same time, Tsoi did not specify the cause of death.

Efanov, a native of Taganrog, began studying music at the age of 12. In addition to playing the guitar, the artist showed his abilities in conducting, piano and percussion instruments.

During his career, the guitarist also collaborated with singer Stas Mikhailov and bands such as Elvira T and VIA Gra.
