The Tastes of Russia gastronomic festival will be held at VDNH as part of the large-scale "Summer in Moscow" project. From August 14 to 24, residents and guests of the capital will be offered to taste farm products and national dishes from different regions, join culinary and craft workshops, and attend performances by artists, Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina said.

"The festival will bring together producers from Altai and Kamchatka territories, Murmansk and Tula regions, Tatarstan and other parts of our country," Sergunina said. "Muscovites and tourists will be presented with Alan pies, Bryansk honey, Crimean cheese, Penza maple syrup, Perm tea kvass and other treats."

The event will take place on the site between the fountains "Stone Flower" and "Friendship of Peoples". There they will organize a food court where you can taste Buryat buuzes and fluffy Udmurt fritters (tabani) with condensed milk, Far Eastern fish soup with crab and mussels in cream sauce, Dagestani lamb kebab and Karelian soup with onions, salmon and potatoes.

The stage will host cooking shows "Battle in the Kitchen", which will feature famous people and famous chefs, as well as performances by creative teams from different regions. Artists from Karelia, Chuvashia, Udmurtia and the Chelyabinsk region, in particular, will show their performances there.

For the first time, Tastes of Russia was held in 2020-2021 as a national competition for regional food brands. Since 2022, the event has been held in the format of a food festival.
