Krasnodar beat Orenburg 1-0 in the third round of the Russian Premier League

Football club (FC) Krasnodar beat rivals from FC Orenburg in the guest match of the fourth round of the Russian Football Championship. The meeting on August 10 was held at the stadium of the hosts "Gazovik" and ended with a score of 1:0 in favor of the reigning champions of the Russian Premier League (RPL).

Nikita Krivtsov scored the only goal a minute after coming on as a substitute, in the 76th minute of the game, Sport-Express notes. For the 22-year-old midfielder, this goal was the 20th he scored for the Bulls.

Krasnodar scored nine points as a result of the match and came in second place in the RPL. Orenburg, with two points, is in 13th place in the standings.

The day before, a hat-trick by FC Lokomotiv midfielder Alexei Batrakov brought his team victory in the derby with FC Spartak in a match in the fourth round of the Russian Premier League. The match ended with a score of 4:2. Besides Batrakov, Dmitry Vorobyov also scored in the 49th minute. Christopher Martins scored against Spartak in the 26th minute and Ezequiel Barco from the penalty spot in the 78th.
