Russian Sliseva became the winner of the World Swimming Games
Russian Diana Sliseva won the World Diving Games on August 10, winning the final 50 m swim with apnea in Chengdu, China.
In addition to Sliseva's gold medal, Russian swimmers won three bronze medals: Valeria Andreeva in the 50 m in classical fins, Alexey Fedkin in the 100 m in classical fins and Ekaterina Mikhailushkina in the 200 m in classical fins. Later, Konstantin Shakhtarin of Russia became the winner of the Thai boxing tournament in the weight category up to 71 kg.
The World Games will end on August 17, and 235 sets of medals in 34 sports will be awarded at the tournament.
