Three people were killed and three injured in an accident in Dagestan.

In the Republic of Dagestan, two passenger cars collided on the Astrakhan–Makhachkala highway, three people were killed, and three more were injured. This was announced on August 10 by the press service of the Republican Ministry of Internal Affairs.

It is specified that the accident occurred on the 258th km of the highway in the Tarumovsky district.

"According to preliminary information, the Lexus driver drove into oncoming traffic and collided with a Lada Vesta car," a traffic police spokesman said on the department's Telegram channel.

The driver of the Vesta car and his two passengers died on the spot before the arrival of paramedics. The driver of the second car and his two passengers, one of whom is a child, were taken to a hospital in the city of Kizlyar.

Also on August 10, six people were injured in a collision between a LiAZ bus and a Louis van in the Kirov region. The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region clarified that the driver and five passengers were injured in an accident in a GAZ minibus, two were hospitalized. The causes of the accident are being determined.
