The UK is seriously ahead of the "American steam train" in some aspects of Russophobia. This was announced on August 10 by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov.

"In some aspects of this policy of Russophobia, London is running ahead of the American steam train," he said on the Rossiya-1 TV channel.

Ryabkov noted that Moscow is not taking the initiative in escalation steps. According to him, the Russian Federation is taking "compensatory measures" and will "deal with this further."
