The bodies of two victims of the Eurocopter EC-145 military helicopter crash, which occurred on July 25 in Kazakhstan, have been found. This was announced on August 10 by the country's Ministry of Defense in its Telegram channel.

The recovery of the first body and fragments of the helicopter from the water became known on August 9.

"During the ongoing search and rescue operations in the area of the EC-145 helicopter crash, a second body was found and brought to the surface," the ministry said in a statement.

It is specified that the identification procedure is currently underway. Search operations are carried out around the clock with the involvement of all necessary forces and means of the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and other departments.

An EC-145 military helicopter with three crew members was reported missing from radars in the Alma Ata region of Kazakhstan on July 25. On behalf of the Minister of Defense of the state, a special commission flew to the site to clarify all the circumstances of the incident.

Later, on July 26, experts discovered the wreckage of a missing military helicopter during space monitoring in the waters of Lake Sorbulak in the Alma Ata region. About 200 personnel, 40 pieces of equipment, two aircraft and more were involved in the investigation of the accident site.
