The authorities of the Saratov region have begun to eliminate the consequences of the attack of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), which took place earlier in the morning. Local residents, in an interview with Izvestia, shared that the windows in the house were damaged due to the shock wave.

"I didn't realize how many claps there were. The shock wave was such that my glass was even damaged. It was very scary. People were running, children were crying," a resident of the damaged house told Izvestia.

She also noted that she had seen local residents who had suffered cuts from glass fragments.

The Governor of the Saratov Region, Roman Busargin, stressed that it was necessary to promptly begin work on restoring broken windows and doors. According to him, the restoration will begin today.

"To help people, not to leave anyone. <...> Those who will not be able to spend the night in their apartments, we will provide a hotel. The police will provide public order protection here now. You don't have to worry about your property," concluded the head of the region.

The attack on an apartment building in the Saratov region occurred earlier in the morning. The UAV crashed in the courtyard of the house. One man died. Residents were evacuated to a nearby school, where a temporary accommodation facility was set up.

In addition, an industrial plant was damaged due to an attack by an APU UAV in the Saratov region. According to Busargin, all the necessary emergency services began their work on the spot.
