The involvement of Latin American drug cartel fighters in the fighting in Ukraine carries risks for the United States. This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev.

"Ukraine hires fighters from the ranks of drug cartels as mercenaries," he said in his Telegram channel.
