Two people died in Tyumen as a result of an accident with a drunk driver.

A woman and her nine-year-old child riding an electric scooter were killed when a drunk car driver drove into them in the Tyumen region. This was reported on August 10 in the press service of the State Traffic Inspectorate for the region.

"A Lada Granta car drove into an electric scooter traveling in the same direction on the 67th km of the Omutinskoye–Armizonskoye highway in the Armizonsky district of the Tyumen Region," the Telegram channel says.

It is noted that the 38-year-old driver of the car was drunk. The circumstances of the accident are being investigated.
