In the United States, six people were injured due to shooting in the city of Baltimore. This was reported on August 9 by CBS News TV channel with reference to law enforcement officers.

"One of the victims was a five-year-old girl who received a gunshot wound in her arm. She is expected to recover from her injuries," the publication says.

At least one man was found by medics in critical condition. He was taken to a local hospital for surgery. At the time of the shooting, in the evening, the victims were on the porch of their house and eating, said Police Commissioner Richard Worley.

It is noted that no suspects have been identified at the moment. Law enforcement officers are interviewing victims and witnesses of the shooting to establish the details and causes of the shooting.

Several streets near the scene of the incident were closed to the public. Police also advised residents to avoid the area.

Earlier, on August 9, three people were injured in a shooting near Times Square in New York, USA. Among the injured are an 18—year-old girl and two men aged 19 and 65. The police took one suspect into custody.
