The State Duma is considering a bill to increase fines for noisy cars
The State Duma is considering a bill to increase fines by 10 times for using noisy cars at night. This was announced on August 10 by State Duma Deputy Sergei Kolunov.
"The State Duma is considering a bill designed to increase fines under Article 8.23 of the Administrative Code by at least 10 times — from 500 rubles to 5,000 rubles. <...> Work is underway on the second reading," RIA Novosti quoted the official as saying.
It is noted that the bill has already been adopted in the first reading back in 2023. According to Kolunov, according to the future law, it is possible to detain such cars and motorcycles. In this case, the video recorders will be fixed.
At the same time, Kolunov stressed that the document, if adopted, would give the regions the opportunity to independently increase fines for this offense, but not more than 30 thousand rubles.
Earlier, on June 24, it was reported that the State Duma would consider a bill on additional CTP payments for self-repair of a car. It is assumed that the consumer will be able to offer his own station, which, in accordance with the unified repair methodology and price guides for it, will be ready to repair the car. At the same time, the insurer will pay for the repair of the car without taking into account the wear of parts and spare parts.
