The commander of the first company "Bars-16" spoke about the formation of units
The commander of the first company "Bars-16" of the Russian Armed Forces (RF Armed Forces) with the call sign Strizh told on August 9 how formations are created in the unit. According to the serviceman, the basis of the company is the constant change of fighters in the detachments so that everyone can work with each other and practice interaction.
"We mix people who are more experienced, who have already been there, and those who come for the first time, <...> and we already form experienced twos and threes from them, and then we try to mix people," he explained.
As the company commander noted, this is necessary to practice the interaction of each member of the unit with each other and perform tasks with any combat comrade. For example, if for some reason one commander is missing, then one of the remaining soldiers can lead the formation.
Strizh added that it's hard to be a commander. According to him, every time he has to think about personnel, send fighters to perform combat missions. Also, one of the important tasks of the commander is to analyze where to place the company and where to evacuate them from.
Earlier, on August 8, during combat duty, Sergeant Alexander Sinkin promptly evacuated a wounded colleague to a safe place. The soldier was presented with a state award for his professionalism and courage in fulfilling his duty.
On August 6, Private Alexander Tokmakov, who is in the position of a tank platoon driver, completed the task of defending camouflaged vehicles in a position as part of a security group. At the firing position, he discovered the enemy's FPV drones approaching, after which he took up an advantageous position and opened fire on them. In a few hours of defense from Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), the soldier shot down more than 10 aerial targets.
