In Nizhny Novgorod, a six-year-old child was crushed to death by a fallen garage wall

A six-year-old resident of Nizhny Novgorod died as a result of the collapse of an abandoned garage wall on him. This was announced on August 9 by the regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.

An accident in Avtozavodsky district of the city was reported to the fire department.

"On Rayevsky Street, a father and son walked past abandoned garages. Suddenly, the building collapsed and overwhelmed a six—year-old boy," the department's Telegram channel says.

The boy's body was recovered from the rubble by four department specialists.

On July 29, the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Sverdlovsk region reported the death of a five-year-old boy from electric shock in the village of Vyuzhny. It was established that a strong wind broke the wire of the power line, which fell on a child riding a bicycle. A criminal case has been opened under Part 2 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence").
