Andrey Urgant shared his memories of actor Ivan Krasko
People's Artist of Russia Ivan Krasko, who died at the age of 95, was a neighbor of many other famous filmmakers in the actor's village of Molodezhnoye on the shore of the Gulf of Finland in St. Petersburg and often visited them. Theater and film actor Andrei Urgant shared his memories of the actor with Izvestia on August 9.
"We all used to live together in the summer on our small plots in our small acting village: Lyudmila Petrovna Senchina, Nina Nikolaevna Urgant, Ivan Ivanovich Krasko, Mikhail Sergeevich Boyarsky. I won't list them all, they loved to visit, but Ivan Ivanovich was especially touching," he shared.
According to Urgant, Krasko always came to his mother, People's Artist of the RSFSR Nina Urgant, with some kind of construction tools: nails, a hammer, a chisel.
"He said, 'Nin, surely something has happened to you?' She said, 'Well, the step is leaking.' He says, "Well, I'll take the old one away and burn it in the oven." He brought a new one, nailed it on. Then I sat, drank tea, and chatted. And now he's gone. It's a pity. Take care of each other, please, time is running so fast," the actor added.
Ivan Krasko, People's Artist of Russia, Soviet and Russian actor of theater, cinema and dubbing, died on August 9 at the age of 95 as a result of a long illness. Since 1965, Krasko served at the St. Petersburg Academic Drama Theater named after V.F. Komissarzheskaya. Krasko also has more than 200 feature films, TV series, and performance films under his belt. The theater's press service will announce the time and place of the farewell later.
