Two people were killed when a motorcycle and an electric bike collided in Moscow.

In Moscow, an electric bike driver and a motorcyclist carrying a passenger collided on the Khodynka field. According to the Moscow prosecutor's office on August 9, two people died on the spot as a result of an accident.

It is noted that after the impact, the motorcycle ran into an obstacle due to inertia — a city lighting mast.

"As a result, the driver and passenger of the motorcycle died on the spot, a male courier driving an electric bike was taken to a medical facility," the department's Telegram channel reported.

The progress of the procedural check on the accident is under control at the Prosecutor's Office of the Northern Administrative District of Moscow.

On August 7, three minors were injured in a collision between two motorcycles in the village of Podkumok in the Stavropol Territory. Previously, a 15-year-old Himoto motorcycle driver, driving at an unsafe speed, lost control and collided with a Kayo motorcycle. The 15-year-old driver and passenger, as well as the 16-year-old driver of another motorcycle, were taken to the intensive care unit with serious injuries.
