A collapse occurred in the Sherlovskaya-Oblique mine in the Rostov region
In the Sherlovskaya-Oblique mine in the Krasnosulinsky district of the Rostov region, the roof of the rock collapsed, one person died. This was announced on August 9 by a source of Izvestia.
According to him, the collapse occurred at a depth of about 500 m. The mine is currently operating normally.
There are no injured or blocked people. At the moment, permission is expected to lift the body of the deceased to the ground.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations clarified that information about the collapse was received at 12:30 (coincides with Moscow time). According to the agency, two people are at a safe distance from the collapse area. A team of mountain rescuers has already been dispatched to the site.
Earlier, on June 23, one person died as a result of a rock collapse at a mine in the Solnechny district of the Khabarovsk Territory. The deceased turned out to be a 23-year-old student who was interning at Tin Ore Company JSC.
