A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. Units of the Center group of forces liberated the town of Yablonovka in the DPR. As a result of the group's actions, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) lost more than 405 militants, six armored fighting vehicles, including a US-made MaxxPro armored car, four vehicles and three field artillery guns.

At the same time, the units of the Vostok group continued to advance deep into the enemy's defenses, while the North, West and South groups improved their positions.

"Units of the Dnepr group of forces defeated formations of the mechanized, mountain assault brigades, the coastal defense brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the air defense brigade in the areas of Kamenskoye, Novoandreevka, Zaporizhia region, Antonovka and Nikolaevka, Kherson region," the Russian Defense Ministry said.

Operational and tactical aircraft, attack unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), rocket troops and artillery of the Russian Army hit the storage and launch sites of aircraft-type drones, as well as temporary deployment points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and mercenaries in 142 districts.

The air defense forces, in turn, shot down a Su-27 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force, two guided aerial bombs, two HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) manufactured by the United States and 457 aircraft-type drones.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, during the special operation, the Kiev regime forces lost 665 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 75,813 drones, 625 anti-aircraft missile systems, 24,504 tanks and other armored personnel carriers, 1,584 MLRS combat vehicles, 28,318 field artillery and mortars, as well as 39,356 units of special military vehicles.
