In Kuban, a power transmission line was damaged when the wreckage of a drone fell
As a result of the fall of the wreckage of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in the Crimean region of the Krasnodar Territory, a power transmission line was damaged. This was announced on Saturday, August 9, by the governor of the region, Veniamin Kondratiev.
"In the Krymsky district in the village of Fadeevo, three households were slightly damaged — some windows were cut by shrapnel, some roof and fence. The power line was also damaged," Kondratiev wrote on his Telegram channel.
In addition, according to him, last night and this morning in the Slavyansky district, fragments of drones fell on house plots in the village of Sovkhoznoye. In Slavyansk-on-Kuban region, the roof of the summer kitchen was damaged, they got into the courtyard of the house and on one of the streets, and also damaged the window at school No. 12. In the Krasnoarmeysky district, UAV fragments fell into a field near the village of Prirechye. Emergency and special services are working at the accident sites.
As the governor noted, there were no casualties. He added that some municipalities do not have mobile Internet for security reasons, and sirens are sounding in the Crimean region.
On the same day, it was reported that 44 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) were neutralized by air defense systems from 08:00 to 12:00 Moscow time over the Russian regions. Among them, eight drones were eliminated over the Krasnodar Territory, seven UAVs were shot down over the Tula region, and five drones were neutralized in the skies over the Kaluga Region.
