Two teenagers were injured in a motorcycle accident in the Kemerovo region
In the Kemerovo region, the circumstances of an accident involving three underage drivers are being established, in which two teenagers were injured. This was announced on Saturday, August 9, by the regional department of the Interior Ministry.
The incident occurred on the night of August 7-8 in the village of Chertinsky urban district of Belovo. A 16-year-old schoolboy, driving an Alfa motorcycle, collided with a 17-year-old student on a motorcycle IZH Jupiter-5 while overtaking. After the collision, the Jupiter crashed into an oncoming motor scooter, the Ant, driven by another 16-year-old teenager. Both teenagers, who had no driving license and had not registered their vehicles, were hospitalized with injuries.
"As a result of the accident, both underage motorcyclists received injuries of varying severity, including their heads, since they were without motorcycle helmets," the department's Telegram channel says.
The police drew up four reports on the scooter driver, including for driving unregistered vehicles and not wearing a motorcycle helmet. In addition, his parents were held accountable for handing over control to a minor. Protocols were also drawn up against the parents of two other teenagers for failing to fulfill their parenting duties.
On August 7, three minors were injured in a collision between two motorcycles in the village of Podkumok, Stavropol Territory. According to preliminary data, a 15-year-old Himoto motorcycle driver, moving at an unsafe speed, lost control and collided with a Kayo motorcycle. All the participants were wearing motorcycle helmets, but this did not protect them from serious damage.
