Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated actor and rector of the Shchukin Theater Institute Evgeny Knyazev on his 70th birthday, emphasizing his contribution to the development of the educational institution and the preservation of the traditions of the Vakhtangov school. The text of the congratulatory telegram was published on Saturday, August 9, on the Kremlin's website.

"Dear Evgeny Vladimirovich! Congratulations on the occasion of the 70th anniversary. <...> You are doing a lot to ensure that one of the oldest creative universities in the country develops, while preserving the connection of times and generations, and the wonderful traditions of the Vakhtangov school," the congratulatory message from the head of state reads.
