In Sterlitamak, 16 people were injured as a result of a gas-air mixture explosion. This was reported on August 9 in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Bashkortostan.

"On Technical Street, there was a pop of a gas-air mixture in a brick building without subsequent gorenje. According to preliminary data, 16 people were injured in the incident, no children. 15 people were evacuated," the department said in a Telegram channel message.
