In Tomsk, a woman was detained for stealing 30 kg of meat from a store
A resident of Tomsk was detained for stealing 30 kg of meat from a store counter. This was announced on August 9 by the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Tomsk region in its Telegram channel.
"On the recordings from the surveillance camera, it was recorded how the girl, approaching the meat counter, making sure that no one was nearby, began to put semi-finished products in a bag, after which she bypassed the cashier and left the store. The amount of damage amounted to more than 11 thousand rubles," the message says.
It is noted that the next day, the woman also tried to steal meat from the counter, but the police detained her on her way out of the store.
According to the department, a criminal case was opened on the fact of the crime under Part 1 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Theft of other people's property").
Earlier, on July 21, a suspect in the theft of nine packages of cheese from a store was detained in Velikiye Luki. The incident occurred a day earlier at about 3 p.m. at a retail outlet on Gagarin Street. A few minutes after the store staff pressed the alarm button, employees of the Rosgvardiya extra-departmental security arrived at the scene.
