In the Leningrad region, four people were injured on the Narva highway as a result of a collision between a car and a truck. This was announced on August 8 by the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region in its Telegram channel.
"A 44-year-old woman driving a Mitsubishi Pajero lost control and drove into oncoming traffic, where she collided with a Renault truck driven by a 39-year—old driver," the report said.
According to the department, the driver of the car and three passengers were hospitalized in serious condition.
It is noted that a check is being carried out on the fact of the accident.
Earlier that day, a woman and two children were killed in a car collision in the Saratov region. Two more children and two adults were hospitalized. The investigation of all the circumstances of the incident has begun.
