In Rostov-on-Don, as a result of an attack by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), an explosion and subsequent fire occurred in a multi-storey apartment building. This was announced on August 8 by the acting governor of the Rostov region, Yuri Slyusar, in the Telegram channel.

"Due to the UAV attack, an explosion and fire occurred at the 18th floor level in a 20-storey apartment building in the Levoberezhny microdistrict of Rostov-on-Don," he said.
