Buckingham Palace has announced that British Monarch Charles III will address the nation. The Daily Mirror newspaper writes about this on August 8.

"The king is preparing to deliver a historic speech next week to mark the 80th anniversary of Victory over Japan Day, when Allied forces celebrated victory over Japan at the end of World War II," the article says.

Charles III will deliver an audio message, which will be published by Buckingham Palace on the anniversary of the celebration.

On June 14, a military parade was held in London in honor of Charles III's birthday. It is noted that more than 1.3 thousand soldiers took part in the ceremony at the Horse Guards parade.
