An attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) was repelled in Sochi, as a result of which the window of an apartment building in Dagomys was damaged. This was announced on August 8 by the mayor of the city Andrey Proshunin.
"An air defense system is operating in Sochi. An attack by unmanned aerial vehicles is being repelled. There was a report of damage to one of the windows in an apartment building in Dagomys," the mayor of the city said in his Telegram channel.
Special and emergency services are working at the scene. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties. The necessary assistance will be provided to local residents. All services are on maximum alert and coordinated by the city's operational headquarters.
The mayor of the city called on residents and guests of Sochi to remain calm and observe security measures, reminding that those who are near the coastline should stay in rooms without windows.
