The cameraman of the cartoon "Doctor Aibolit" Alexander Mukhin died at the age of 82
Soviet animator and cinematographer Alexander Mukhin, known for his work on the animated films Alice in Wonderland and Doctor Aibolit, died at the age of 83 in Kiev. This was reported on August 8 by the Ukrainian Channel 24.
According to media reports, the man did not contact his relatives for some time, after which the relatives decided to call the police. When the police arrived, they found the artist's body in his apartment.
Alexander Mukhin was born in Kiev in 1944. He graduated from the Kiev Art and Industrial College, as well as the Faculty of Journalism of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv State University.
As a cinematographer, screenwriter and director, he participated in the creation of more than 70 animated films. Famous works include "Dr. Aibolit" (1984, 1-3 episodes), "Alice in Wonderland" (1981) and "Alice through the Looking Glass" (1982), "How a Kitty and a Dog Washed the Floor" (1977), "How a Hedgehog and a Bear Changed the Sky" (1985). Mukhin also participated in the creation of the satirical film magazine "Wick".
