Turnstiles of the capital's production will be installed in Moscow public transport

Moscow has signed an offset contract for the supply of turnstiles with domestic microelectronics for urban transport. This was announced on Friday, August 8, by the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy.

New equipment with biometric payment function will be installed on more than 4.5 thousand aisles, the first delivery is scheduled for 2025, notes 360.ru . Thanks to the new design, the capacity of the metro will increase by 40%, writes RT.

The investor will create a production facility with an area of about 5,000 square meters in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ, investing at least 500 million rubles.

The authorities recalled that since 2017, over 30 offset contracts have been signed for the supply of products for urban needs, the total volume of purchases will exceed 700 billion rubles, and more than 8,000 jobs will be created, the Moscow City News agency reports.
