- The interactive exhibition "The Same Moscow" about the achievements of the capital has opened in the Manege.
A large-scale interactive exhibition "The Same Moscow" has opened in the Central Exhibition Hall "Manege". It has become one of the flagship venues of the annual forum-festival "Territory of the Future. Moscow 2030".
"We have opened the exhibition "The very Moscow". For the first time, achievements in three key areas were presented in a single space: transport, urban planning and industry. This is not just a technology demonstration, but a large-scale conversation about the future of the capital. On behalf of Sergei Sobyanin, we are developing the city in a comprehensive manner — we are implementing digital solutions, supporting the industrial sector and improving the infrastructure so that it becomes as convenient and accessible as possible for everyone. All our decisions are based on concern for the comfort and well—being of citizens," said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.
Acquaintance with the exposition begins outside the Manege — on Manezhnaya Square. Here, guests are greeted by a spectacular installation — a real subway car "Moscow-2024", and next to it a prototype tunnel shield. The installation is complemented by a media facility with dynamic robotic arms, which is part of a light show that reflects the achievements of the capital in transport, urban planning and industry.
In addition, for the first time in front of the Arena, citizens and tourists will see eight simulators of urban transport and construction equipment, including an excavator, a bulldozer, a tower crane, a loader, a tram, an electric bus, a subway car "Moscow-2024" and an MCD train. Those who wish can try themselves as a machinist, driver and even operator of a tower crane to virtually observe the real construction processes in the city from a bird's-eye view.
The Manege Central Exhibition Hall covers an area of 11,000 square meters and houses more than 10 themed interactive zones. Thanks to them, the viewer is completely immersed in a new fascinating environment. The formats include multimedia installations, projections, and realistic spaces. Also, with the help of bright special effects, the atmosphere of life in the metropolis is created — morning, afternoon, evening and night.
Thematic areas are dedicated to Leningradsky Railway Station, the 90-year history of the Moscow metro and its future, urban planning, the reorganization of depressed territories, the development of urban embankments, the renovation program, innovative technologies in construction, electric and river transport, and the digital city. The guests of the exhibition will also learn a lot of new and interesting things about the modern metropolitan industry.
An important part of the exhibition is occupied by dynamic models of the Pechatniki, Alabushevo and Rudnevo industrial Park sites located on the territory of the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone. Today it is the largest center of high-tech industrial development of the capital, where 230 enterprises are located, the number of which is constantly increasing.
The exhibition will demonstrate the evolution of urban industrial architecture and introduce the modern workplace of a metropolitan specialist. Interactive zones will make you feel like a part of the city's cutting-edge industry. Everyone will be able to try themselves as an architect-programmer of robots, a biotechnologist or a professional in the field of IT security.
In addition, visitors will see a variety of products from the capital's enterprises.: a space satellite, robotic industrial complexes, unmanned aerial vehicles, photonic integrated circuits that increase data transmission by 100 times, as well as other products from high—tech industries - over 50 exhibits in total.
Electric transport accounts for 80 percent of Moscow's urban transport. A separate exhibition is dedicated to the development of urban embankments and river transport. In order for the guests of the exhibition to delve deeper into the history of the capital's river transport, a virtual 5D journey along the Moskva River was prepared for them.
A popular science program of the exhibition will be held in the lecture hall of the Manege Central Exhibition Hall. Lectures and master classes are planned — over 100 presentations by experts, scientists and artists in total.
