Traffic through the Adler checkpoint on the border with Abkhazia has been suspended
Traffic through the Adler automobile checkpoint on the border with Abkhazia has been temporarily suspended. This was announced on August 8 in Rosgranstroy.
"Rosgranstroy informs about the temporary suspension of traffic through the Adler automobile checkpoint on the border with Abkhazia," the agency's Telegram channel says.
The ministry explained that the reason for the suspension was the threat of an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on the territory of the city of Sochi.
The day before, as a result of the fall of UAV debris between the Velichkovka and Angelinskaya stations in the Krasnodar Territory, the movement of seven passenger trains was delayed. It was noted that trains in the directions No. 11 Moscow – Anapa, No. 97 Moscow – Simferopol, No. 473 Smolensk – Simferopol, No. 289 Yekaterinburg – Anapa, as well as No. 507 Izhevsk – Novorossiysk, No. 121 St. Petersburg - Novorossiysk, No. 255 Sosnogorsk – Anapa were delayed.
