In Cheboksary, as a result of an accident, a foreign car drove into an ice cream pavilion, and a child was injured. This was announced on August 8 by the press service of the Prosecutor's Office of Chuvashia.
According to preliminary information, the driver of the Toyota Camry made a U-turn in the wrong place. Next, he collided with a Ford Mondeo car that was moving in the opposite direction. As a result of the accident, a Toyota Camry drove onto the sidewalk and knocked down an ice cream stand next to which there was a 13-year-old girl.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Chuvashia, the schoolgirl was taken to the hospital for medical treatment, it follows from the Telegram channel of the department.
"Upon the fact of an accident, employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate are conducting an inspection, which is under the control of the district prosecutor's office," the Prosecutor's office of Chuvashia said in a Telegram channel.
Earlier, on August 8, in the Frunzensky district of Vladivostok, two people were killed and two injured in an accident. It was clarified that the 34-year-old driver of a Toyota Corolla Axio car drove into a traffic light, where he collided with a Subaru Impreza car. At the same time, both passengers and one of the drivers were not wearing a seat belt during the incident.
