The hit-and-run occurred on Thursday evening, August 7, on the 39th km of the federal highway R-257 "Yenisei". It was previously established that the 34-year-old driver of a Toyota passenger car hit an 11-year-old child who was crossing the roadway at an unregulated pedestrian crossing with his parents.

As a result of the accident, the boy received various injuries, with which he was taken to the hospital, writes KrasnoyarskMedia news agency. An investigation has been organized into the incident, and the circumstances are being established.

On the same evening, in the Yeniseysky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a drunk motorist knocked down a woman with a stroller carrying a three-month-old child. The baby was seriously injured and was hospitalized, his mother was not injured.
